Every year, Pantone give us a colour of the year. 2014 is the year of Radiant Orchid. It’s a purple-pink colour, which to be honest I am not feeling at all.  Leatrice Eisemana, a colour specialist, describes this as an ‘enchanting harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones’. Hmmm. Yep, still not liking it.

That looks good. The clean lines are ticking my boxes. Obviously the light helps but the colour palette looks fab. The grey is, in my humble opinion the real colour of the year, so I suspect we will see a lot of grey with Radiant Orchid as the accent or detail.
