The industrial chair revolution
The industrial trend never seems to go away. That’s not a bad thing. I like the look. On a lot of the builds I have worked on we have left services exposed and polished concrete to create the industrial look.
When you see many industrial styled rooms, you see the Xavier Pauchard Tolix Type A chair – a chair has become an icon in industrial aesthetics. Like these:
The Type A chair isn’t cheap, even some of the reproductions (which are included in the montage above) come in at a couple of hundred pounds. But there are some budget friendly metal chairs out there which can help you achieve an industrial look, such as these:
Industrial White Metal Chair, £55.00, The Furniture Market | Navy Chair Style 1006, £69, Cult Furniture | Downtown Metal Chair, £79, Idea Home C0 | Metal Chair Orange Powder Coated, £69, Homemakers |
Adding a pop of colour warms the space up. Look at how those rooms have been styled. Lots of raw materials and textures, again, to warm the room up. Adding the details stops the space looking too warehouse like.
So what do you think? Are any of those budget friendly versions alternatives doing it for you?
