When I was little my Aunt had a traditional cuckoo clock she bought in Germany. My siblings and I were mesmerised by it. My uncle used to wind back the time just so we could see that little bird do its thing over and over. Fast forward 30 years and my daughter is now saying “again, again” to that same old clock.
This got me thinking about cuckoo clocks and how nice it would be to have one. Random I know. The traditional type do not match my home decor at all, and to be honest, I don’t like the look of them. So off I went to investigate what the contemporary versions look like. And I am loving them. They’re not cheap but they are brilliant.
