Inspiration: Citrus Brights
|Citrus shades are a key trend for 2016; zesty tangerine, lime and blood orange accent fabrics will freshen up rooms and quench colour cravings. I am a big fan and clearly ahead of the game – my old house had a bright orange feature wall up the stairs! I am really in to light bright rooms with colour pops and citrus lends itself well to this look…
I read a great style tip from Lorna McAleer from Style Studio: “Don’t be afraid to mix and match different colours and patterns in citrus shades to brighten a neutral living space, as long as they are the same tones you can’t go far wrong.”
I adore the Wunderschooen Gemact photo (the second photo) – a bunch of flowers is such an easy way to lift a room. You should take a moment to have a look at their store, too. They have some fabulous items (candles to die for!) and these on theme Lapin & Me Pineapple Lights.
I have a lot of love for the citrus pops against the monochrome pallet too, and although my house if full of white wooden blinds I am now thinking black blinds like those featured below would look fab in my bedroom. These ones are from Studio Style.
So what do you think? Citrus. Love it or hate it?

I am always a little torn, I def. not a fan of Orange, but Yellows and Pinks like in the first pic look amazing and I love the Pineapples xx
Ohh, orange is one of my favourites. Pink not so much, together they look fabulous!
