It’s Wednesday, so that means it’s time for a little wallpaper loving! I was just browsing the new collection of wall coverings collection over at Hygge & West, a collaboration with Laundry – who are designers based in Portland, US. The paper which caught my eye was the Talavera.
This paper in inspired by a floor pattern found in a Mexico City church but has a distinctly modern feel to it – that’ll be because of the colours. It was designed by Laundry in Portland and screen printed in Chicago. This paper is really durable and is fade resistant. It will set you back $125 which is about £77 plus shipping. I can really see this looking perfectly at home in your nooks and crannies (don’t you just love that idiom!), as a featured wall and Talavera would look beautiful on and in furniture like those I featured in our update furniture with wallpaper post last month.
